Das Über Cowl
Wow, I'm just in a blogging mood, aren't I? Two posts in one day! Well, this one is for the pattern to my Über Cowl, a simple yet good-looking crocheted neckwarmer. It would be good for a beginner (even as a first project, perhaps) or anyone wanting something basically mindless to make in a few hours. Bonus: it's unisex!
You're going to need 1 skein of Lion Brand Microspun (A), 2 skeins of Bernat Softee Chunky Ombres (B), 1 skein of Ella Rae Palermo (C), and 2 skeins of Schoeller + Stahl College (D). You're also going to need a US size H/8 crochet hook.
With A, chain 90. Join into ring with a slip stitch.
Work in double crochet as follows: 2 rounds A, 5 rounds B, 9 rounds C, 6 rounds D, 5 rounds B, 3 rounds A. Fasten off. That's it!
